Hi! I'm Regina! My life has been dedicated to being an artist in some form. When I was little, it was drawing and coloring. As I got older, it became crafting. After high school, I learned how to be creative digitally through graphic design which has extended into art direction. All these years later it still comes down to pen and paper (or Apple Pencil and iPad). In my free time I love drawing, trying new beers, watching F1, hanging out with friends, being in nature, and powerlifting. While I'm doing any of these things I love listing to music. My current go-to playlist has a nice mix of Metallica, Billie Eilish, 311, and Lady Gaga. I know, I know, It's a weird combo but it works for me!
I'm a seasoned and award winning senior graphic designer with art direction experience. I've spent the last 18 years working with both large corporations and small businesses and hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Visual Communications. I'm proficient in InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop as well as other programs needed in my career. I have experience managing graphics teams as well as directing lifestyle photoshoots all while working under tight budgets and deadlines.
I've worked both inhouse and freelance and enjoy both. Over the years I've gotten to work with large companies such as Costco, Office Max/Depot, Walmart, 99 Cents Only, and Target to name a few. I've also worked with international companies based in Mexico, Canada, Puerto Rico, Japan, China, and parts of Europe. I can design for both print and digital but print is my personal favorite. I enjoy digital work but there's something extra satisfying about physically holding the final product in your hand or seeing it on display in a store shelf. When I design packaging or POP displays for big box stores, I try to visit them at least once.
I love taking an idea from a sketch or rough concept to final product. I have experience working with photographers, stylists, retouchers, and print pressmen to ensure all the details are just right. I'm able to make the process very streamline and get projects completed on time, within budget, and looking beautiful.
